Daniel Patrick Cummings, 52, of Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, passed away on March 30, 2020. Dan was diagnosed with fibrosis of the lung over a year ago and died of complications from a double lung transplant. He was a fighter until the very end. Dan grew up in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, and graduated from Simley High School. Dan was a machine tech for 26-plus years at Wilbert Plastic Services.

 

He enjoyed golfing and spending time in Wisconsin at Round Lake and walking the beaches on Anna Maria Island in Florida.

 

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Donald Cummings, of Luck.

 

Dan is survived by his wife, the love of his life for 22 years, Jennie; children, Brendan (Amber) Malmstedt and Zack Cummings; mother, Nancy Cummings, of Frederic; brother, Michael Cummings, of Luck; aunt, Caroline Schoch; Jennie’s parents, Chris and Dave Malmstedt; and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
