Donna Clarie (Everts) Lindh

Donna Claire (Everts) Lindh, 91, of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Comforts of Home in St. Croix Falls surrounded by her family.
Donna was born on Oct. 14, 1928, to George and Anna Marie (Lucken) (Jensen) at home in Milltown, Wisconsin. She was raised on the family farm and graduated from Milltown High School in 1947. After graduation she worked at the hospital in Frederic, Wisconsin, where she studied and became a licensed practical nurse. It was during this time that she met and cared for a patient named Junior Fred Lindh who became her husband on Oct. 27, 1951, at the Milltown Lutheran Church. The marriage lasted 68 years and three children were born to this union.
After living in Red Wing, Minnesota, for three years they returned to St. Croix Falls and then moved to Eureka Center in 1959 where Donna lived until February 2019. She worked at the St. Croix Falls and Grantsburg Hospitals before working at the United Pioneer Home in Luck, Wisconsin, for 18 years prior to retiring. Upon retiring she volunteered at the St. Croix Regional Medical Hospital and the St. Croix Falls Good Samaritan Home auxiliaries.
Donna was a longtime member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in St. Croix Falls and sang in the choir. She also sang in the Sweet Adelines choir and was a member of the Sons of Norway. She enjoyed traveling, camping, music and spending time with her grandchildren which included an annual trip to Valleyfair where her favorite ride was the Northern Lights! She had a passion for collecting Red Wing pottery, Beanie Babies, Copenhagen plates and Dickens Village houses.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; siblings and their spouses, Laura (Henry) Biederman, Warren (Charlotte) Everts, Howard (Barbara) Everts, Lester “Jocko” (Lois) Everts, Grace (Fred) Petersen and Lucille Everts and Ronald “Bud” Everts.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Junior; her children, Dana (Marsha) Lindh of Sturgeon Bay, Jana (Ted Brua) Lindh of Hudson and Lori (Jim) Raymond of Frederic; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lael “Jean” Everts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
