Ellis F. Hagler American Legion Post 278, Balsam Lake Honor Guard will honor the departed comrades of the area on Monday, May 27, at the following cemeteries:

The program at Balsam Lake Cemetery will feature music by the Unity High School band and the guest speaker will be Dan Mosay. Following the 11 a.m. service, the public is invited to the annual Memorial Day dinner at the Balsam Lake Post 278 Legion Hall in Pine Park.
Chisago County, Minnesota
The 2019 Memorial Day program will be conducted by Carl Linnell Post 392 American Legion and Chisago County Post 1678 VFW.

10 a.m., Taylors Falls Cemetery; then march to Interstate Bridge, Salute to Maritime Dead 11 a.m.

Dinner will be served at the Almelund Church.

The Frederic American Legion cordially invites the Frederic community and visitors to attend Memorial Day services, Monday, May 27. Frederic High School Band will perform. The main speaker is Mr. Kay Friberg. The American Legion will be recognizing Kincade Engen and Teresa Neely as Badger State Representatives. Hattie Antonich will be selected for the American Legion/ Frederic Elementary School Citizenship Award. Frederic High School Band will perform the Star Spangled Banner with vocalist Mr. Gregory Heine, America the Beautiful will be sung by Pastor Rich and Kathy Hutichson and Kordy Kurowski and taps will be sung by Bruce Paulson and played by high school trumpters Rachael Bugella and Andrew Tinman.

11 a.m., Memorial Day ceremony at Riverside Veterans Memorial. Musical selections presented by the Grantsburg High School band, placing of the wreath, Memorial Day address by Col. Doug Stubbe, Burnett County Veterans Service officer, the honor guard rifle salute and taps. Potluck lunch to follow at the American Legion Hall. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held at the high school auditorium.
Indian Creek
Indian Creek American Legion Post 396 will perform taps ceremonies at the following cemeteries on Monday, May 27. Members meet at the hall at 8 a.m.

Monday, May 27, there will be a Memorial Day service at 10:30 a.m. at Luck Public School. Guest speaker will be Pastor Greg Ofsdahl from the Luck Lutheran Church. Badger Boys State and Badger Girls State representatives, and will also be speaking. Luck High School Band will perform.
Following the Memorial Day program at Luck High School, the Luck American Legion Post #225 will provide military honors at the Luck Village Cemetary at approximately 11:30 a.m., with rifle salute and taps. The unit will then proceed to West Denmark Cemetary at 11:45 a.m., followed by St. Peter’s Cemetary, North Luck at noon, and Lawson Cemetary at 12:15 p.m.

There will be a Memorial Day program at Siren High School auditorium at 11 a.m. with military honors at Lakeview Cemetery in Siren immediately following the program.
Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Day service will be held Saturday, May 25, at 1 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery near Spooner. The feature speaker will be Donnie Placidi, WDVA administrator of Veterans benefits. The special event will be a ceremonial flyover by the War Birds of Spooner.
St. Croix Falls
American Legion Post 143 Memorial Day program is Monday, May 27. The Legion will be at the following places:
9 a.m., Pleasant Hill Cemetery
10 a.m., St. Croix Falls Cemetery
Flag disposal ceremony will also be held at Legion Post 143. Potluck lunch will be hosted by Post 143 and Ladies Auxiliary at 11:30 a.m., at Legion. Public welcome.
American Legion Otis Taylor Post 96 will hold its Memorial Day services Monday, May 27 at 10 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery. Benediction and invocation given by Father Randall Knause from Webster Catholic Church, guest speaker Sgt. John W. Miller USAF, retired. If rain, the service will be held at the Webster High School. A memorial dinner will be held at the Webster Community Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sponsored by American Legion Auxiliary Unit 96. After the dinner, the Indianhead Barbershop Chorus will be singing. We are celebrating 100 years of American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary.
